‘Low Status’ Work?

To the Editor: Re “Race and Class Define Men Who Take ‘Women’s Jobs’ ” (The Upshot, March 10): Who gets to decide what a “low status” or “low value” job is? I’ll bet that when loved ones have need of a nurse’s aide, home health aide or other such caregiver, that person will be one of the most valuable people in their lives.
