When Jimmy Kimmel heard that Senator Ted Cruz and President Trump had dinner on Wednesday night, he wanted more. He said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday that he’d pay to watch every bite the former campaign rivals ate — presumably through clenched teeth.

As the House Republicans’ health care bill moves closer to passage, late-night hosts continued to make it a target.
