Version 0 of 1.

To the Editor:

Thank you for writing about the 1993 World Trade Center bombing in “Around a Memorial, a Bombing Is Forgotten” (news article, Feb. 20), which highlights visitors to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum who don’t remember the first attack.

What is not noted is that these visitors can learn a great deal at this venue about the 1993 bombing. They can see the names of the six people killed in the attack etched in bronze on the memorial alongside those killed on 9/11.

Inside the museum, visitors can see the 1993 victims’ portraits and learn about their stories, as well as view a concrete slab from the parking level where the explosion occurred, a fragment of the rental van that was transformed into a bomb and other artifacts.

It is our mission to remember both Trade Center attacks, and it is our hope that more and more visitors will be educated through these stories and artifacts.
