Disney and IMAX Extend Movie Deal Through 2019

Version 0 of 1. Disney (DIS) and IMAX (IMAX) have extended their partnership with a new "multi-picture deal" that will begin this year and go through 2019. The film deal includes movies released from Disney, Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. As part of the agreement the two companies will work to create exclusive IMAX marketing materials, particularly for films captured using IMAX cameras. Shares of both Disney and IMAX are slightly lower on Wednesday morning. |
