Man to face several sex charges

A 52-year-old man has been charged with a number of sexual offences relating to incidents in Counties Down and Armagh.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 1991 and 2007.

The charges include five of indecent assault, two rapes, and one abuse of trust. Reports have also been submitted to PPS in relation to other matters.

The man is expected to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
