Hashi Ahmed Omer, 18, from Bristol, has been charged with failing to disclose information and will appear on Tuesday before Westminster Magistrates, London. | |
He was arrested on 16 June and his home was searched by police as part of an investigation into another local man, 19-year-old Andrew Ibrahim. | |
Mr Ibrahim is accused of plotting to commit acts of terrorism. | |
Avon and Somerset Police said officers had been "painstakingly scrutinising" thousands of days worth of CCTV footage secured since Mr Ibrahim's arrest, as well as examining more than 2,000 exhibits and over 2,500 documents. | |
Last month Mr Ibrahim, from Westbury-on-Trym, was remanded in custody to await trial accused of attempting to make a bomb at his home. | |
Known as Isa, he appeared at the Old Bailey via a video-link from London's Belmarsh prison. | |
He is accused of being in possession of two home-made vests, ball bearings, nails and screws. | |
He is also charged with making or having an explosive - hexamethylene triperoxide diamine - with intent. | |
His trial is expected to take place in January next year. |
