Man charged under Terrorism Act Terror police charge second man

An 18-year-old man from Bristol has been charged under the Terrorism Act, police said. Detectives investigating an alleged terror plot have charged a second teenager under the Terrorism Act.

Avon and Somerset Police said Mr Omer had been charged with failing to disclose information. Mr Ibrahim is accused of plotting to commit acts of terrorism.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers had been "painstakingly scrutinising" thousands of days worth of CCTV footage secured since Mr Ibrahim's arrest, as well as examining more than 2,000 exhibits and over 2,500 documents.
Last month Mr Ibrahim, from Westbury-on-Trym, was remanded in custody to await trial accused of attempting to make a bomb at his home.
Known as Isa, he appeared at the Old Bailey via a video-link from London's Belmarsh prison.
He is accused of being in possession of two home-made vests, ball bearings, nails and screws.
He is also charged with making or having an explosive - hexamethylene triperoxide diamine - with intent.
His trial is expected to take place in January next year.
