"The team started its work in 1998, which was the worst year for trench foot. We were seeing approximately 90 cases a day. Over the years, we have seen less and less of the condition. At the festival, the team of podiatrists treat the condition with a potassium permanganate footbath, which draws fluid out of the affected area.
