Man charged after double shooting

Andrew Dixon, of Parsons Lane, Alford, Lincolnshire, is also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and two firearms offences. A 41-year-old man and 42-year-old woman were injured in the shooting outside a house off Bluestone Heath Road in South Ormsby, Lincolnshire, on Saturday. Mr Dixon will appear before magistrates in Skegness on Monday morning. The injured man, from Louth, suffered shotgun wounds to his face and was still in Lincoln County Hospital on Sunday night, in a stable condition. The woman hurt in the incident was discharged from hospital in Boston earlier on Sunday |
