The service is being followed by the burial at nearby Grove Park Cemetery. During the service Jimmy's mother, Margaret Mizen, 55, said: "I can't believe we are here now. He really was a beautiful son."
Family and friend had said the funeral should be a celebration of Jimmy's life and they wore brightly-coloured clothes and listened to his favourite songs. Her husband Barry, 56, said Jimmy was "a lovely boy" who had his mother's smile.
Jimmy's mother, Margaret Mizen, 55, read a eulogy at the service. "I have some really good memories and I will keep them always," he said.
Jimmy's six brothers each made a personal tribute to him during the service.
