A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of stabbing to death another man in Inverness. | |
James MacKenzie, of Inverness, faces a charge of murdering 27-year-old Mark Connor on Saturday. | |
Mr MacKenzie allegedly committed the offence near to his house in the Merkinch area of the city. | |
He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination after appearing in private and on petition at Inverness Sheriff Court. | |
Mr MacKenzie appeared before Sheriff Derek Pyle before being remanded in custody | |
Meanwhile, two others also appeared in court in connection with the alleged murder. | |
Kylie Robertson, 20, and John MacDonald, 25, both of Inverness, were accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice. | |
Neither made a plea or declaration and were committed for further examination. They were also remanded in custody. | |
All three will appear in court again next week. |
