In North Lincolnshire, the council's deputy leader Len Foster said: "Everyone pulled together last year to deal with the aftermath of the floods and we'll do the same again if needed.

The council has spent more than £1m on cleaning and maintaining the drainage infrastructure after last year's deluge.
