A gunman has killed a young woman and injured 19 other people at a college in the Canadian city of Montreal, before being shot dead by police. | |

Eyewitnesses described fleeing in terror from the campus grounds as he opened fire. | |
The dead woman was in her 20s. Five of the injured are in a critical condition in hospital. | |

"Then one of my classmates saw through the window and started to say: 'Oh my God, oh my God.' Then everybody saw through the window, and we saw one guy on the floor bleeding... next to him was a girl that had been shot on her leg." | |
