MP's job fears for unpaid workers Negotiations to save Derry jobs

The Foyle MP Mark Durkan has said he fears for the future of a call centre in Londonderry after the company failed to pay their staff. A call centre company which employs almost 50 people in Londonderry has said it is in negotiations to try and secure its future.
He said workers at the Anderson Manning call centre in Rosemount did not receive their wages on Thursday. The Foyle MP Mark Durkan has voiced fears for the future of Anderson Manning's office in Rosemount premises after the company failed to pay staff.
Mr Durkan said the employees have not been told when they will get their money. A spokesperson said their largest client recently ceased trading, but staff have now been paid.

"The management team is currently in detailed negotiations with its business and financial advisors assessing a number of options to ensure that the company will be able to continue trading. The company's spokesperson said negotiations were underway.
