Motorist dies in late night crash

A motorist has died after his car left a country road in Gwynedd late on Saturday night.

The crash happened on the B4413 between Rhoshirwaun and Aberdaron, on the Llyn Peninsula.

North Wales Police said the man who died was from the Manchester area and no other vehicle was involved.

Police are appealing for witnesses. A North Wales fire crew assisted in making the vehicle safe and with providing lighting at the scene.
