Rody Gorman made the translations of classic Dylan compositions like Knocking On Heaven's Door, She Belongs To Me and All Along The Watchtower. The songs will be performed by a band at the first Leabhar's Craic Gaelic festival in Glasgow on Saturday. The festival, which celebrates Gaelic literature, will be held at the Centre for Contemporary Arts. Dublin-born Mr Gorman now lives on the Isle of Skye. He has published many poetry collections in both Scottish and Irish Gaelic, and has worked as a writing fellow at Sabhal Mor Ostaig in Skye and at University College Cork. |
