David Blaxhall, 49, was setting up a radio station at St Bede's RC High School in Blackburn when he used his camcorder to capture indecent images. He pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to four counts of taking indecent photographs of a child. Blaxhall, of Longridge Heath, Brierfield, Lancashire, was bailed and will be sentenced on 2 July. The DJ hosted a weekly show on Blackburn-based radio station The Bee at the time of the offences in July 2006, but has not worked there since. I have to warn you that custody is a serious possibility Judge Anthony Russell QC His company, The Radio Surgery, went into schools across East Lancashire to teach pupils about broadcasting. After his arrest, police found a number of indecent images of children on his home computer. Blaxhall also admitted three counts of making indecent photographs of a child. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) accepted his not guilty pleas on seven other similar counts. Judge Anthony Russell QC told Blaxhall his offences in relation to the school were serious and a breach of trust. He said: "You must understand that the court will have all sentencing options open. "The starting point is a custodial sentence but it is right that I have as much information as possible before deciding the sentence and it is right you are assessed by the Probation Service.
