Two masked men armed with guns and a knife forced their way into the house just after 1800 GMT on Thursday. Three masked men, who were dressed in blue overalls and armed with guns and a knife, forced their way into Margaret Forbes' home on Thursday night.
They threatened a man, his wife and daughter before escaping with what police described as tens of thousands of pounds-worth of loose diamonds. Mrs Forbes, her husband and daughter were threatened by the gang who escaped with loose diamonds worth tens of thousands of pounds.
The men escaped in the family's car. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them. The gang also stole the family's car. No-one was injured in the attack.
