Version 0 of 1.

A computer hacker has forced Translink to suspend all online ticket sales since Friday, it has emerged.

A spokesman said there was "no indication that any of our customer data has been accessed".

The company said it hoped passengers would be able to purchase tickets online in "another day or two".

Translink operates a number of offers, for example, in relation to the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise, which are only available on its website.

"As a safeguard, until we have fully investigated the full nature of this attack, we are suspending all online sales," continued the spokesman.

"We would advise our customers not to click any links that come in any emails appearing to come from Translink, especially if they appear somewhat suspicious," continued the spokesman.

Translink operates bus and train services across Northern Ireland as well as the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise.
