Tributes have been paid to the victim, the 13th teenager to be killed in London since the start of the year. His father Barry Mizen said family and friends would be attending Our Lady of Lourdes church for prayers on Sunday.
Jimmy's father Barry said: "The message that will be going out is that Jimmy was a great, gorgeous and loving boy." Mr Mizen, 56, said: "The message that will be going out is that Jimmy was a great, gorgeous and loving boy.
"He loved everybody and everybody loved him. He had no problems with taking hugs. He was just a fine young fella and that's all I can say."
'Total shock'
Jimmy, who was one of nine children, had turned 16 the day before the attack and had celebrated by buying his first Lottery ticket.
On Saturday he had been working at the bakery shop when a disturbance broke out and it is believed he tried to help.
He suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
His father told the Daily Mail newspaper that another of his sons, Harry, was with Jimmy when he died.
Parish priest Father Edward Perera said the whole community was in "total shock".
"It's a quiet place. People are very friendly and very supportive of each other. It's a lovely community.
"When something like this happens everybody is shocked."
Jimmy is the 13th teenager to be killed in London since the start of the year.
