A police hunt is under way after a young boy was reportedly seen being taken into a van in Surrey. An urgent police hunt is under way for a young boy who was reportedly seen being taken into a van in Surrey.

A member of the public told Surrey Police they saw the boy being taken at 16:43 BST. The owner of a van pictured in a CCTV image circulated by police has been traced and ruled out of the inquiry.
No parent has reported a child matching a description given to police as being missing, the force said. Surrey Police said officers were treating the report with the "utmost urgency and seriousness".
The child is described as white, approximately 4ft (1.2m) tall, and was wearing a red T-shirt and navy blue jeans. A member of the public told Surrey Police they saw the boy being taken at 16:43 BST on Thursday.
A bike, believed to belong to the child, was left at the scene. However, no parent has reported a child matching the description as being missing.
The modified VW Transporter had three alloy wheels, with one front nearside missing, no rear windows, a sliding side door and chrome sidesteps. Supt Chris Edwards said the child, described as white, approximately 4ft (1.2m) tall, and wearing a red T-shirt and navy blue jeans, was reported to be "messing about" with a bike at the scene.
A bike, believed to belong to the child, was left behind.
"We are treating the matter with the utmost urgency and seriousness as parents would expect us to do," said Mr Edwards.
"We are really interested to speak to anybody who may have been in the Redstone Hill area between 16.30 BST and 17:00 BST yesterday afternoon."
