Man jailed over indecent images

A father-of-five from County Down has been jailed for nine months for downloading images of child abuse.

Newry Crown Court heard that Francis Graham, 46, from Kilkeel had more than 3,000 indecent images of children on his computer.

Graham admitted that since his marriage break-up he had visited websites featuring child abuse on a daily basis.

He was put on the sex offenders' register for ten years and banned from ever working with children.

Graham, who helped run his family's ice cream business, was also ordered to spend a further 18 months on probation.
