Counts are being held by all 32 Scottish councils. You can find out how your area voted here. In East Ayrshire, Remain won 33,891 (59%) votes to Leave's 23,942 (41%), while in Midlothian it was 28,217 (62%) for Remain and 17,251 (38%) for Leave.
Turnout in Scotland is expected to be lower overall than elsewhere in the UK, with turnout in Glasgow 56.2% - higher than May's Holyrood election but lower than last year's general election and much lower than the independence referendum. But early results in England have been much better for Leave. After results in 15 counting areas out of 382, Remain was on 48.5% and Leave on 51.5%
