The 19-year-old was held in Westbury on Trym in the north of the city and is being questioned by detectives at an undisclosed location.

People in 14 houses were evacuated to carry out the controlled explosion.
The controlled explosion was carried out after a raid on the suspect's home.
Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts said a covert police operation got under way after they received intelligence.
The arrest was made on Thursday afternoon, and on Friday at 0200 BST the controlled explosion was carried out. Experts will now analyse the materials.
In a news conference, she said the arrested man lived locally and a house that was raided was linked to him.

Police said it was too early to say whether further arrests would be made.
Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts said: "A 19-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon under the Terrorism Act 2000.
"He has been taken to a police station within the force area and a warrant was executed to search his home in the Westbury on Trym area.
"A number of people were evacuated from neighbouring homes as a precaution, and just after 2am this the morning the explosives ordnance disposal team conducted a controlled explosion at the location."
The covert police operation got under way after the police received intelligence.
