Man charged over O'Hare killing

A 43-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with the killing of Thomas O'Hare in County Armagh.

David Harold Graham, of Shergrim Glen, Omagh, appeared at Newry Magistrates Court charged with perverting justice and withholding information.

The court heard when the charges were put to him he replied "not guilty".

Mr O'Hare, 33, was set on fire by a gang who attacked his home near Tassagh last Monday. His partner, Lisa McClatchey, 21, remains critically ill.

A detective sergeant said he believed he could connect Mr Graham to the charges.

In court, the accused spoke only to confirm his name, give his date of birth and confirm that he understood the charges.

He was remanded in custody to appear again via video link later this month.

Mr O'Hare and Ms McClatchey were doused in a flammable liquid and set alight at their home in the attack. Mr O'Hare died on Friday.
