Police are treating the death of 14-month-old Inayah Ahmed as suspicious after the toddler died in hospital on 20 April, three days after “taking unwell in her home”. The death of a 14-month-old girl in Glasgow is being treated as suspicious, police said.
A police spokeswoman said: “On Sunday 17 April 2016, a 14-month-old girl was taken to the sick children’s hospital after reportedly taking unwell in her home in Drumchapel, Glasgow. She died in hospital on Wednesday 20 Apri . Inayah Ahmed died in hospital on 20 April, three days after “taking unwell in her home”.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “On Sunday 17 April 2016, a 14-month-old girl was taken to the sick children’s hospital after reportedly taking unwell in her home in Drumchapel, Glasgow. She died in hospital on Wednesday 20 April.
