Barrow man arrested on suspicion of murder

A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Barrow-in-Furness.

Police said they were called to the Meetings View area of Ormsgill at 22:00 BST on Saturday where a 35-year-old man was found injured.

He died a short time later in hospital, Cumbria Police said.

The 44-year-old man is being question in connection with the death. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area on Saturday.
