The attack happened at about 2145 GMT. Police have closed the Castleblayney Road while they investigate the attack and have appealed for information. | |
Northern Ireland Secretary Peter Hain condemned the incident and said the only people harmed by it were those who lived in the area. | |
"If this was dissident republicans, the only victims of this are not the people they seek to inflict terror and criminality on - and their purpose is to destablise the restoration of devolved government - the only victims are the people in whose communites they live. | |
"Over the past seven months dissident republicans have in excess of £25m worth of damage," Mr Hain said. | |
Keady police station has limited opening hours and is not open overnight. | |
There were no reports of any injuries in the attack. |
