Mountain search after bag found

Searches are under way for a man seen acting in a confused and disorientated manner on the Ben Nevis tourist path on Saturday afternoon.

A rucksack, which is thought to belong to the man, has been found on the path, but has given no clues about its owner.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team has been looking for the man and the police have issued a description of the rucksack - a black Berghaus Arete Fusion.

Northern Constabulary said the man was last seen at about 1400 GMT.
