Police are investigating reports that a bomb has been abandoned in County Fermanagh. Police are examining a bomb which was found in County Fermanagh.
Earlier, a caller claiming to represent the Continuity IRA told a newspaper in the area that a landmine had been left near Rosslea. It was discovered on the Clogh Road during a search following reports that dissident republicans had abandoned a landmine in the area.
The caller said the device had been abandoned on the Clogh Road after failing to detonate. SDLP assembly member Tommy Gallagher said it has disrupted people trying to live their daily lives.
The police have said that anyone in the area who sees any suspicious objects should contact them. "The police and the security people who have been operating again in the area are treating this very seriously," he said.
"Most people now regard this as a completely senseless act."
