The funeral of a Dorset police inspector who drowned after apparently falling overboard from a ferry is due to take place. Dorset Police held a minute's silence as 400 mourners attended the funeral of a police inspector who drowned after apparently falling from a ferry.

Police motorcycle outriders led Insp Munro's funeral cortege as it passed Bournemouth and Winton police stations.

His coffin was covered with a Dorset Police drape as a mark of respect with his police hat on top.
Flags at the force's buildings will also fly at half-mast until 0700 GMT on Good Friday in tribute to him.
