Version 0 of 1.

An explosion at a US chemical plant in the state of Wisconsin has injured two workers, officials say.

The plant, in the town of Spooner in the north-west of the state, is owned by Cortec Corporation.

Cortec Vice-President Anna Vignetti described the blast as "a small explosion unrelated to production".

Emergency workers set up a two-block exclusion zone round the factory, which makes aerosols and paint products, and children at schools were kept inside.
