Woman arrested over caravan death

A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in County Down, police have said.

The body of Frances Gerard Saunders, 47, was found in a caravan at Bryansford Caravan Park near Newcastle on Sunday.

On Monday, police said a murder inquiry had been launched following a post mortem examination and that a woman had been arrested in Belfast.

Police have set up an incident room in Newcastle Police Station.

They have appealed for anyone who stayed at the site over the weekend to contact them.
