A post-mortem examination revealed Ahmed died as a result of a "blunt force trauma", Merseyside Police said. Ahmed Kayse Ahmed, 29, of London, and two men from Toxteth - 19-year-old Ali Mohammed and Ibrahim Ahmed, 22 - have been charged with murder.
Kadir Mohammed, 22, and Essa Mohammed Ismail, 21, from Toxteth, Liverpool, have been accused of his murder. They will appear before Liverpool City Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
The men are due to appear before Liverpool City Magistrates' Court later. Sayid Hassan Effa, of Toxteth, will appear alongside the three men charged with violent disorder.
Ahmed's friend is currently being treated in hospital, after suffering hand and arm injuries during the incident. Two other men, Kadir Mohammed, 22, and Essa Mohammed Ismail, 21, who are also both from Toxteth, appeared in court charged with murder on Friday.
They were remanded in custody by Liverpool magistrates. It brings to five the total of number of people charged with Ahmed's murder.
