A full report on reforming MPs' expenses is expected by the summer, with updates at the end of this month and in May. MPs are also allowed to claim up to £400 a month without receipts for food bought while staying away from their main home.
This is expected to be dealt with when the committee publishes its full report on reforming expenses this summer.
