Rafael Nadal insists his motivation will be sky high when he lines up in the season-ending Masters Cup in Shanghai later this month.

Nadal beat Roger Federer to defend the French Open in June but blamed fatigue on poor results since he lost the Wimbledon final to the Swiss in July.

And Nadal says he has recovered from an abdominal problem and is raring to go.

"I feel OK. I was practising very hard last month and I arrive in Shanghai with my best motivation," said Nadal.

"For me it was an unbelievable year. The most important moment was winning Roland Garros for a second time and another very special moment was when I won the semi-finals at Wimbledon.

To win Wimbledon is a dream for me Rafael Nadal

"It was also very emotional because I won the last match of Andre Agassi at Wimbledon.

"I played my best level at Wimbledon but I'm going to keep working hard to improve my game because to win there is a dream for me.

"But the season is not finished. I've got to play in Shanghai in one of the most important tournaments in the world so I'm going to try my best there."

Roger Federer, Ivan Ljubicic, Andy Roddick, Nikolay Davydenko, Tommy Robredo, James Blake and David Nalbandian complete the elite line-up in China.

The 12-19 November event sees the top eight players in the 2006 ATP Race divided into two groups, with the two best from each round robin progressing to the knockout stages.
