The accident took place in Augher and is understood to involve a bus carrying 16 pupils to St Ciaran's High School. It happened on the Favour Royal Road in Aughnacloy and involved a bus carrying 16 pupils to St Ciaran's High School.
Last month, 16-year-old Nicola Mallon, a pupil at the same school, was killed when a lorry drove into the back of the school bus she was travelling in. The child is being treated for neck injuries. The other pupils were shocked but were able to go to school.
Six other pupils were also injured in that accident. Last month, Nicola Murray, a pupil at the school, died when a lorry collided with the bus she was travelling in.
The South Eastern Education Library Board said the 57-seater bus involved in Monday's accident, which took place at about 0900 GMT, was fitted with seatbelts which were being worn.
