Suspicious death probed by police

Police who discovered the body of a woman in an Edinburgh flat are treating her death as suspicious, it has been confirmed.

Officers were called to the flat in Sleigh Drive at 0800 GMT where they found the body.

Lothian and Borders Police said an enquiry team had been established but the investigation was still at a very early stage.

A spokesman said no further details were being released at this time.
