Version 0 of 1.

The US military has always shown an affinity for graffiti culture. “You’ll get a bang out of this one” and “Tokyo busters” were just a few subtle messages written on bombs back in World War II.

Now in the wake of the terror attacks that killed 129 people and 300 others in Paris, images of US missiles have gone viral on social media supposedly scribbled with the message "From Paris, with love."

The images have first appeared on the U.S. Army W.T.F! Moments Facebook page with the following caption:

"Hey ISIS! USAWTFM is sending you a care package from the people of France. Now taking requests and dedications via our USAF support element.”

Besides the giant "USAWTFM" watermark in the center of the photo, the same Facebook page posts cartoons of the Statue of Liberty wielding assault rifles.

Similar images have appeared on Reddit and another on the Daily Mail, without any legitimate sourcing.

However, air strikes by the US and its allies hit 116 Islamic State fuel trucks in Iraq and Syria on Sunday. France also dropped 20 bombs on supposed Isis strongholds in Raqqa on Sunday night.
