Fifty firefighters have been tackling a serious fire that has broken out at an east London hotel. Hotel guests were forced to spend the night in a school when a fire broke out at an east London hotel.
The roof and 50% of the fifth floor of Custom House Hotel on Victoria Dock Road, Canning Town, was damaged. About 100 people were evacuated from the Custom House Hotel on Victoria Dock Road, Canning Town, when the roof and fifth floor caught alight on Friday.
The fire was reported at 2039 GMT and about 100 hotel residents were evacuated. No-one was injured. No-one was injured in the fire which was reported at 2039 GMT.
