2. South County (11-0) LW: 2

DeAndre Clayton threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another in the Stallions’ 35-21 win against Annandale. Next up: Friday vs. West Potomac (8-3), 7 p.m. in the Virginia 6A North region quarterfinals.

3. DeMatha (10-1) LW: 4

Lorenzo Harrison and Colton Henry each rushed for more than 100 yards in the Stags’ 42-21 win against then-No. 11 St. John’s. Next up: Sunday vs. No. 14 Good Counsel (7-4), 5 p.m. in the WCAC final at Byrd Stadium.

4. Old Mill (11-0) LW: 5

The Patriots remained perfect with a 36-8 rout of Annapolis in a Maryland 4A East region semifinal. Next up: Friday vs. No. 19 Broadneck (9-2), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 4A East region final.

5. Wise (11-0) LW: 6

Defensive lineman John Daka was credited with five sacks in the Pumas’ 42-8 win over Bowie to start the playoffs. Next up: Friday vs. No. 20 Eleanor Roosevelt (9-2), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 4A South region final.

6. Lake Braddock (10-1) LW: 7

Kyle Edwards tossed five touchdowns and the Bruins recorded their fourth shutout of the year in a 49-0 win against W.T. Woodson. Next up: Friday vs. Battlefield (9-2), 7 p.m. in the Virginia 6A North region quarterfinals.

7. Tuscarora (11-0) LW: 8

The Huskies rolled past Patrick Henry-Roanoke, 42-7, behind running back Taj Malave-Neely’s 149 rushing yards on 16 carries. Next up: Friday vs. Atlee (7-4), 7 p.m. in the Virginia 5A North region quarterfinals.

8. Westfield (10-1) LW: 9

The Bulldogs defense scored twice on a Joseph Caron interception and Jay Aiello fumble return to lead Westfield in its 44-20 win against Washington-Lee. Next up: Friday vs. South Lakes (9-2), 7:30 p.m. in the Virginia 6A North region quarterfinals.

9. Quince Orchard (10-1) LW: 10

Eisley Kim had 103 of the Cougars’ 371 rushing yards in a 49-17 win over Blair, which set up a playoff rematch against Northwest. Next up: Friday vs. Northwest (8-3), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 4A West region final.

10. Gonzaga (9-2) LW: 3

The Eagles were upended by then-No. 20 Good Counsel by the score of 35-12 in the WCAC semifinals, marking their second straight loss. Next up: Nov. 28 vs. Friendship Collegiate (5-5) in the DCSAA Class AA semifinals.

11. Howard (11-0) LW: 12

Bryson Craven returned one of his three interceptions for a touchdown in the Lions’ 20-0 win against Mervo. Next up: Friday vs. No. 12 Sherwood (10-1), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 4A North region final.

12. Sherwood (10-1) LW: 13

A 27-22 win over Bel Air put the Warriors back in the state quarterfinals for the first time since 2009. Next up: Friday at No. 11 Howard (11-0), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 4A North region final.

13. Seneca Valley (10-1) LW: 14

Adrian Platt’s four touchdowns guided the Screaming Eagles to a 30-27 win over previously unbeaten Linganore. Next up: Friday at No. 1 Damascus (11-0), 7 p.m. in the Maryland 3A West region final.

14. Good Counsel (7-4) LW: 20

The Falcons avenged a regular season loss by beating then-No. 3 Gonzaga, 35-12, behind two Devin Judd touchdowns on a reception and interception return. Next up: Sunday vs. No. 3 DeMatha (10-1) 5 p.m. in the WCAC final at Byrd Stadium.

15. St. John’s (7-4) LW: 11

With a 42-21 loss to DeMatha, the Cadets’ season ended in the WCAC semifinals.
