Four wounded in two Prince George’s shooting incidents; no link seen

Four people were shot and wounded Saturday night in Prince George’s County in two incidents, the police said.

The first shooting occurred about 8:25 p.m. in the 5200 block of Morris Avenue,in the Camp Springs/ Suitland area, just south of the Capital Beltway.

None of the victims’ wounds was believed to be life-threatening.

According to first accounts, an assailant approached the three and opened fire.

The police were investigating the matter and few details were immediately available.

The fourth shooting victim was found about 9 p.m. in the 8200 block of 17th Place, police said. The scene was a neighborhood of single family homes in the Langley Park area.

Police said the victim’s wounds were life threatening.
