More than 100 people were arrested last week in a warrant sweep targeting suspects in crimes related to domestic violence.

Deputies from the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff and officers from several other law enforcement agencies in the region knocked on roughly 400 doors to arrest 124 people and close 146 outstanding warrants, according to officials with the sheriff’s office.

Those arrested face charges ranging from assault, violation of protective orders, stalking, telephone misuse and other domestic-violence related charges.

The sheriff’s office leads the warrant sweep in Prince George’s each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
