A 48-year-old Liverpool businessman has died in an accident in Austria caused by winds from Hurricane Emma. A 47-year-old British man was killed in Austria when the taxi he was in was hit by a boulder during wind storm Emma.
He died on Saturday when rocks crushed the taxi in which he and his family were travelling. Mark Huddlestone, of Widnes, Cheshire, was involved in the accident a short time after landing at Salzburg International Airport on Saturday.

A Foreign Office spokesman said the family of the unnamed man was being offered consular support. One of the rocks crushed the roof of the car he was travelling in.
Another man, a 41-year-old British friend of Mr Huddlestone's, is believed to have been uninjured in the accident.
Mr Huddlestone, a businessman, had been going skiing in the area for several years.

High-speed winds from Hurricane Emma have been buffeting parts of northern Europe over the past few days.
