Mother-of-four Anita Stead, 39, of Slindon Close, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, died from smoke inhalation. Her husband Alan George Stead, 41, was arrested at his home in Loggerheads on Monday and is due before magistrates charged with murder later. Mrs Stead's death was initially investigated by the police but a new inquiry was launched last year. A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said officers were still keen to hear from anyone who may have information about Mrs Stead's death. |
