The accident happened on the Ballygawley Road at Cabragh shortly after 0800 GMT. The accident happened as the bus was turning into a primary school on the Ballygawley Road, Cabragh, at 0800 GMT.
It is understood five ambulances went to the scene and a doctor was also present. Two of the children are described as "fairly seriously" injured. Six others, including the driver, have also been taken to hospital.

Craigavon Area Hospital confirmed they were dealing with five casualties. The bus was carrying about eight pupils from St Ciaran's High School in Ballygawley and seven from St Mary's Primary School in Cabragh.
It was turning into St Mary's when the accident happened.
It is understood five ambulances went to the scene. The injured have been taken to Craigavon Area Hospital.
Accident blackspot
Local SDLP councillor Anthony McGonnell said it was "an horrific scene".
"What we know so far is that two children - pupils of St Ciaran's High School in Ballygawley - have been badly injured.
"A number of other children have received less severe injuries.
"We do not know as yet how badly injured anybody is. They have all been removed by the emergency services, who responded magnificently and were here literally within minutes."
The councillor said it was the latest in a long line of serious accidents on the road.
