Fire breaks out at tragedy hotel

More than 30 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a derelict hotel in County Londonderry.

The police were also at the scene of the blaze which broke out at the Gorteen House Hotel in Limavady at about 1930 GMT on Monday.

A section of the Roe-mill Road was closed to traffic.

The hotel had been derelict since a fire in 2003, when part-time firefighter Joe McCloskey lost his life.

It is not yet known how the second fire started.
