Version 0 of 1.

The family of a pensioner who sustained 34 fractures after she died has met the Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey, at Stormont.

They want a public inquiry into what happed to Maureen McGinley, 78, from Strabane who died from pneumonia last January at Altnagelvin Hospital.

A petition of 14,000 signatures calling for an inquiry was given to the chair of the health committee, Iris Robinson.

James McGinley, Mrs McGinley's son, said they must find out what happened.

"We'll keep on going 'til we get answers," he said.

"Our legal team is behind us 100% and we'll keep on going."

A coroner said that it was impossible to tell who was to blame for the injuries to her ribs.
