Officers were called to the scene in Lavender Avenue, Mitcham, south London, on Saturday evening. Eugene Attram, 16, of Thornton Heath, was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting after being stabbed but later died from his injuries.

The teenager has not yet been named. Police have arrested one man and five youths as part of the murder inquiry. One man and five youths have been arrested and are in custody at south London police stations.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We believe we know the identity of the deceased, although we await formal identification. The three other boys, two aged 14 and the third aged 17, were stabbed but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"Next of kin are in the process of being informed."
