Charge follows major drugs find

A 24-year-old man has been charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

The charge relates to the discovery of 14,000 ecstasy tablets during a routine vehicle check in Belfast on Sunday morning.

Â£10,000 worth of cocaine and what police have described as a substantial sum of cash were also found during the check on Blacks Road.

The man is to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday.

It has been estimated that the 14,000 ecstasy tablets have a street value of approximately Â£75,000.
